Ingredients
1¼cupheavy whipping cream
1cupconfectioners’ sugar
3tbspunsalted butter
1tspground cinnamon
½tspground nutmeg
¼tspground cloves
⅓cuppumpkin puree
water,1 splash, as needed
Preparation
Beat the cream in a chilled glass or metal bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
Beat the confectioners’ sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves together in a chilled bowl with an electric mixer until smooth and glossy.
Fold whipped whipping cream into the butter mixture until the color is consistent.
Lightly fold pumpkin puree through the cream mixture.
Stir water into the frosting to thin to desired, spreadable consistency.
Serve over cakes, and enjoy!
