Ingredients
canola oil,for frying
2cupsdill pickles,or sweet pickles, sliced
1½cupsRITZ Crackers,crushed
¼cupall-purpose flour
2tspcajun seasoning
½tspitalian seasoning,salt-free
½tspcayenne pepper
1egg,beaten with 1 tbsp water
¼tspkosher salt
Preparation
Heat 1-inch of canola oil in a heavy-bottomed or cast iron pot to 375 degrees F. Place pickles on paper towels to dry slightly.
In a bowl, mix together crushed RITZ Crackers, flour, and spices, and set aside. In a separate bowl, set aside egg beaten with water.
Dip pickles in egg mixture, and then dredge them in the cracker mixture and set aside.
Fry them in batches and drain them on paper towels. Sprinkle finished pickle fries with kosher salt.
Serve and enjoy.
