Ingredients
3cupsred cabbage,thinly sliced
¾cupred bell pepper,diced
2shallots,diced
1fresh ginger,(1-inch piece) peeled and minced
10fresh basil leaves,snipped
¼cupmayonnaise
1lemon,juiced
2tbspolive oil
1½tspwasabi paste
freshly ground multi colored peppercorns,to taste
½cuppine nuts,toasted
2tbspsalted sunflower kernels
Preparation
Combine cabbage, red bell pepper, shallots, ginger, and basil in a large bowl.
Whisk mayonnaise, lemon juice, olive oil, wasabi paste, and ground pepper in another bowl; stir into cabbage mixture. Top with pine nuts and sunflower kernels.
