Ingredients
1 lb medium shrimp
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tbsp kosher salt
½ tbsp black pepper
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups white wine
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ cup butter
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
parmesan cheese, grated
lemon wedges
Preparation
In a mixing bowl season the shrimp with salt and pepper and give a good mix.
In a medium-sized pan, heat olive oil. Add shrimp to the pan. Cook and occasionally stir for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove when shrimp turns pink.
Lower heat and add minced garlic. Stir the garlic for about 1 minute until it becomes fragrant. Then add white wine and mix.
Bring the heat back up and allow it to boil for about 4 to 5 minutes. Once the wine boils reduce heat and simmer until it is reduced in half.
Add in butter and let it melt. Then Add the Italian seasoning and chopped parsley and stir.
Return shrimp to the pot and stir to coat with the sauce. Then quickly remove from heat so as not to overcook the shrimp.
Transfer to a plate and garnish with parmesan, parsley, and lemon wedges.
