Ingredients

1cupwater

1cupinstant rice

1tbspbutter

1pinchsalt

cooking spray

Preparation

Bring the water to a boil in a small saucepan. Stir in the rice, cover the pan, and remove from heat.

Allow to stand for 5 minutes until the water is absorbed. Stir in the butter and salt.

Spray a 9-inch pie pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Spoon the cooked rice into the pan. Use the back of a spoon to firmly press rice along the bottom and sides of the pan to create a crust.

Use the crust with quiche fillings of choice, and bake as directed for quiche.

Serve warm, and enjoy!
