Ingredients
1½lbasparagus,tough bottom ends trimmed
1½tbspolive oil
1tbspgarlic,minced
salt and freshly ground black pepper,to season
½cupparmesan cheese,grated or powdered
lemon wedges
parmesan cheese,grated or powdered
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
In a mixing bowl, combine asparagus, garlic, and olive oil. Toss to combine.
Season with salt and pepper then spread into a single layer on a baking sheet.
Roast in the oven for about 15 minutes or until tender. Then, remove from oven, sprinkle cheese evenly over top.
Return back to the oven and roast 3 minutes longer, or until the cheese has melted.
Serve immediately with lemon wedges for spritzing. Best accompanied with any grilled or roasted fish and steaks.
