Ingredients
3lbsrutabaga
1tbspolive oil
½tspthyme
salt and pepper,to taste
2tbspbutter
2tbspbrown sugar
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Peel rutabaga and cut into 1-inch cubes. Toss with olive oil, thyme, salt and pepper.
Spread onto a large roasting pan and roast for 45 to 55 minutes or until tender and golden.
Remove pan from the oven, add butter and brown sugar to the pan, stir until the rutabaga is coated. Return to the oven for 5 minutes.
Serve warm.
