Ingredients
4chicken thighs,boneless, skinless
1tspkosher salt
½tspcoarse ground black pepper
4cupschicken stock
2tbspchicken base,optional
2clovesgarlic,minced
1yellow onion,diced
25ozhominy
14ozwhite beans
4ozdiced green chilis
2tspground cumin
1tspchili powder
1tspdried oregano
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to your 4 quart slow cooker.
Cook on Low for 7 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
Shred chicken before serving.
Top with freshly minced jalapeños, cilantro, chips, avocados or cheese.
