Ingredients
2cupsseashell pasta,small
⅓cupItalian-style salad dressing
salt,to taste
15ozpinto beans,1 can
15ozblack beans,1 can
15ozwhole kernel corn,1 can, drained
3tomatoes,chopped
1½tbspground cumin
½tbspchili powder
½tbsponion powder
½tspgarlic powder
¼tspdried red pepper flakes
salt and pepper,to taste
Preparation
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
Add the pasta, then cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain and rinse pasta in cold water.
Place the pasta in a large mixing bowl, then add the dressing and salt. Mix well.
Combine the pinto beans and black beans in a colander, then rinse them with cold water.
Add the beans, corn, tomatoes, cumin, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder, dried red pepper flakes and salt and pepper to taste to the pasta. Toss lightly.
Chill the salad in the refrigerator.
Serve, and enjoy!
