3tbspbutter

6ozminiature marshmallows

⅓cupmolasses

2tspground cinnamon

½tspnutmeg,grated

½cuppeanuts,crushed

8cupspopcorn,popped

Preparation

Melt the butter in a large pot over low heat. Stir in the miniature marshmallows, then cook and stir for about 5 minutes until mostly melted.

Add the molasses, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the marshmallow mixture, and continue cooking for about 5 minutes more until the mixture begins to bubble.

Mix the crushed peanuts into the mixture, then remove the pot from heat.

Gently fold the popcorn into the marshmallow mixture to coat, taking care to not crush kernels.

Working with buttered hands or a measuring cup sprayed with non-stick spray, form popcorn mixture into 12 balls and let rest on waxed paper until cool.

Serve and enjoy.
