Ingredients
12ozcranberries
¾cupsugar
¾cupwater
sugar,coarse or fine, for rolling
Preparation
Bring the water and sugar to a boil, then let boil for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, then add the cranberries in.
Using a slotted spoon, remove the cranberries and place them on a rack. Allow to drip dry for about 20 to 30 minutes. They should be tacky to the touch.
Place the cranberries, a few at a time, back into the warm sugar mixture in the pot.
Roll each cranberry in the extra sugar, then place them on parchment paper.
Let dry for 1 hour.
Serve over ice cream, cakes, and other treats, and enjoy!
