Ingredients
2cupsall purpose flour
½cupsugar
3tspbaking powder
½tspsalt
1egg
1cupmilk
¼cupmilk
¼cupbutter,melted
¼cupagave,or honey
Preparation
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. In a separate bowl, combine egg, milk, butter and agave. Stir wet ingredients into dry and mix just until moistened.
Fill greased or paper-lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden and baked through.
Cool 5 minutes then remove to a wire rack. Serve warm.
