Ingredients
4tbspHellmann’s mayonnaise
4tspTabasco Pepper Sauce
1lime juice
8medium potatoes
1thyme leaves,handful
3tspTabasco Pepper Sauce
1tspsea salt
2tsppaprika
2clovegarlic
½lime juice
2tbspvegetable oil
Preparation
Make the dip by combining the ingredients in a small bowl using a fork or a little whisk.
Parboil the potatoes, in a pan of boiling water, for a maximum of 10 minutes. They need to be slightly hard so that they don’t fall apart when you sauté them.
While they are boiling, mix the thyme, Tabasco, sea salt, paprika, garlic, and lime together in a small bowl.
Drain the potatoes, place them in a large bowl, and gently coat them with the seasoning mixture.
Heat up the oil in the pan and fry the potatoes, turning frequently, until nicely browned. Serve the potatoes with the spicy dip.
