Ingredients
1turkey carcass,from 14 lbs
8cupschicken broth
12ozmedium egg noodles
1yellow onion,chopped
4celery stalks,thinly sliced
2medium carrots,thinly sliced
1bay leaf
1tspkosher salt
½tspcoarse ground black pepper
½tsprosemary
½tspthyme
2cupsturkey meat,chopped
Preparation
Add the turkey carcass and broth to a large dutch oven. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 30 minutes.
Remove the bones from the pot, then add in all the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer, then cover and cook for about 12 minutes until noodles are cooked.
